The LSD BYU was a phenomenal event, with a great atmosphere and support from the Heart and Soul Team. The facilities were great, having food vendors, toilets, a rave barn, hot drinks and lots of space to pitch up tents. The goodie bags and LSD trophies were exceptional (designed and created by the team themselves) and as always the merch from Heart and Soul is second to none. The route was beautiful, with deer galloping over fields, the sunshine beaming over the crops and varied terrain to run through. A special mention to Clo and her amazing photography too. It was lovely to be reunited with runners from previous events and create more memories. We have already signed up to LSD 2027 and excited to see what Heart and Soul develop next. Well done Paul, Logan and the HSR team. You should be extremely proud at what you have accomplished.

My first back yard ultra and don't think it could have been better. Very relaxed organisers who just helped take the stress away. They were very friendly and chatty and made us all feel so welcome.

Was worried that as an older female and slower runner that this wouldn’t be the event for me. I was totally wrong. Impressed by the inclusivity and sheer joy of this race. The cherry on the cake would’ve been a female only loo! Would definitely give this another attempt.

Amazing set up and event, organised and ran really well. Fantastic stocked aid station and great goody bag when finished.

Fantastic organisation and atmosphere plus a great route. The only disappointment was that I had signed up early and was supposed to get a t shirt but the voucher was in the goody bag and said I could only collect until 6pm but I didn't finish the event until lap 9 at 8pm. Gutted!
